Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) by a doctor using standard diagnostic methods
  • Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is greater than 25 kg/m² (considered overweight or above)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently taking medications that lower blood sugar, such as metformin or GLP-1 medications (for example, Ozempic or similar)
  • You stopped taking metformin less than 3 months ago, or stopped taking a GLP-1 type medication less than 6 months ago
  • You are currently using insulin
  • You do not have a smartphone that is compatible with a device called "Stelo" (confirm with trial site)
  • Your fasting blood sugar level is above 100 mg/dL (based on a blood test taken within the past 3 months or shortly after your first visit)
  • Your HbA1c (a measure of average blood sugar over time) is above 5.7% (based on a blood test taken within the past 3 months or shortly after your screening visit)
  • You have a history of anorexia or bulimia
  • You currently use or have previously used a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), which is a wearable device that tracks blood sugar levels
  • You are currently taking oral contraceptives (birth control pills)
  • You are planning to become pregnant within the next 6 months
  • You have gone through menopause
