Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a solid tumor cancer that has a specific genetic change called "AKT1 E17K mutation," confirmed through laboratory genetic testing.
- Your cancer cannot be removed with surgery, or it has spread to other parts of the body.
- Your cancer has gotten worse on standard treatments, you were unable to tolerate those treatments, or you chose not to have them.
- Your cancer can be measured or evaluated using standard imaging scans.
- You are generally able to carry out normal daily activities with little to no limitation (confirm with trial site).
- Your liver, kidneys, and other organs are functioning well enough to participate (confirm with trial site).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously been treated with certain drugs that target the PI3K or mTOR pathways in the body.
- Your tumor has been found to have specific genetic changes in genes called KRAS, NRAS, HRAS, or BRAF.
- You have a known condition that makes it difficult or impossible for you to swallow or properly absorb a pill taken by mouth.
