Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are currently staying in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital.
  • You have been diagnosed with an infection that was caught as a result of receiving medical care (sometimes called a hospital-acquired or healthcare-associated infection).

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a type of pneumonia (lung infection) that was caught in the community, meaning outside of a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Your infection is not connected to receiving medical care.
