Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer called high grade serous or high grade endometrioid carcinoma, at any stage (I through IV)
  • You are newly diagnosed, currently receiving chemotherapy (with or without surgery), in remission after finishing your first course of treatment, or being treated for the first time your cancer has come back
  • A stored tissue sample (from surgery or a biopsy) taken before you received chemotherapy is available, so it can be tested for BRCA gene changes
  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are able to read, understand, and sign a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your cancer is a different type of ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer — not the high grade serous or high grade endometrioid type — or the exact type is unclear
  • Your cancer has come back a second time or more
  • You already know you carry a change (mutation) in the BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene
  • You have already had genetic testing for BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations, or have had a broader hereditary cancer gene panel test done

Important: Always verify eligibility with the trial site directly before applying.

Based on publicly available eligibility criteria from ClinicalTrials.gov. Verify directly with the trial site before acting. This is not medical advice.
