Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Your heart condition is mild to moderate, meaning you can do some daily activities but may feel symptoms with exertion (this is based on a heart function rating scale called NYHA classes I–III)
  • You experience constipation, meaning you have fewer than three bowel movements per week
  • You are awake, alert, and able to communicate clearly

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have other serious illnesses or medical conditions (confirm with trial site)
  • You have wounds or infections in or around both ears
