Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You identify as African American or white and are male
- You are between 18 and 75 years old
- You currently smoke at least 5 to 10 cigarettes per day
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a serious condition that significantly affects your thinking, memory, or mental functioning
- You have a personal history of lung cancer
- You have a history of illegal drug use or alcohol abuse
- You have taken part in a program to help you quit smoking in the past 6 months
- You are currently using any nicotine replacement products (such as patches, gum, or lozenges)
- You have certain responses on a specific mental health screening questionnaire used by the trial team (confirm with trial site)
