Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have advanced ovarian cancer and are scheduled for surgery (either as a first operation, after 3–4 rounds of chemotherapy, or as a second or third surgery).
  • You are able to carry out at least some daily activities on your own (your general health and activity level meets a specific medical scoring standard called ECOG 0–2 — confirm with trial site if unsure what this means for you).
  • You are willing and able to take part in at least 75% of the programme, or attend a minimum of 6 sessions.

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your surgery is scheduled in less than 3 weeks' time, leaving no time to take part in the preparation programme beforehand.
  • You have an unstable heart or breathing/lung condition.
  • You have physical movement difficulties or memory/thinking problems that would make it too hard to take part in the programme.
  • You do not wish to take part in the trial.
