Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
For cancer survivors (CCS group):
- You are between 5 and 25 years old
- You have finished your full course of cancer treatment and your cancer is considered to be in remission (no relapse or new treatment needed before the study's exercise test)
For the healthy comparison group (control group):
- You are a child who has been referred to check a minor exercise-related symptom such as a heart murmur, palpitations, or shortness of breath, or you need a routine medical certificate for sports
- All your check-up results are completely normal, including physical examination, heart tracing (ECG), heart scan (echocardiogram), and breathing test (spirometry)
Who may not be able to join:
(These exclusion criteria apply to the healthy comparison group)
- You have any ongoing long-term illness or health condition, including heart, neurological, breathing, muscle, or kidney conditions
- You are currently taking any regular medication
- You need to be referred on to any further specialist medical appointments following your check-up
