Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 10 and 21 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis
  • You are a patient of a Stanford Children's Health doctor or a pediatric gut specialist connected to Stanford
  • You are able to attend in-person meetings and training sessions

Who may not be able to join:

  • You started a biologic (a certain type of medication) in the last 3 months (confirm with trial site)
  • You were admitted to a hospital in the last 2 months
  • You had major surgery in the last month
  • Your disease activity score is above a certain level, meaning your condition is currently very active (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently pregnant
  • You have a severe developmental or intellectual disability
  • You do not speak English
  • You are currently taking part in another clinical trial
