Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (early-stage memory and thinking difficulties) that is believed to be caused by Alzheimer's disease, based on specific medical guidelines
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with a condition affecting the blood vessels in the brain, have had a stroke, have fluid build-up in the brain (hydrocephalus), or have a growth or mass inside the skull shown on a brain scan
- You have a history of a traumatic brain injury or any other disease affecting the brain or nervous system
- You have a serious medical illness other than a condition called FTD (frontotemporal dementia) (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of seizures (epileptic fits)
- You are pregnant
- You have any metal implants in your head, not including regular dental fillings
- You have an electronic device implanted in your body, such as a pacemaker or an implanted medication pump
- You are under 18 years of age
