Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer at an advanced stage (stage 3A, 3B, or 3C) that cannot be removed by surgery
- You have received a specific combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy given at the same time as the main treatment
- Your nutritional status before treatment was assessed as either "well-nourished" or "mildly malnourished" using a specific scoring tool called the PG-SGA (confirm with trial site)
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation, as measured by a standard medical scale (ECOG score of 0 or 1)
- Your doctors estimate you are likely to live for at least 6 months
- You are able to safely receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy without medical reasons preventing it
Who may not be able to join:
- You have serious problems with how your gut or intestines work, or your body cannot tolerate being fed through the digestive system
- You are experiencing severe vomiting, bleeding in your digestive system, or a blockage in your intestines
- You are severely malnourished, or your body cannot tolerate receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy together
