Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

You have been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis) and have one or more narrowings (strictures) in your intestine that were found on a CT scan, MRI, or camera examination (endoscopy).

Who may not be able to join:

You currently have a complete blockage in your bowel that needs emergency surgery.
Your doctor considers you to be at high risk of developing a sudden, serious bowel blockage.
You currently have an active infection around your back passage (anal area).
You have abnormal tunnels (fistulas) forming between different parts of your intestine alongside your narrowings.
Your narrowing is located very low in the rectum or in the anal canal.
Tissue samples taken from or near your narrowing have shown signs of pre-cancerous changes or cancer.
You are unable to safely have an endoscopy (internal camera examination) due to other health conditions.
You are unable to give your informed agreement to take part in the trial.
There is a suspected hole or tear in your digestive tract.
You are pregnant.
You are unable to have an MRI scan of your small bowel — for example, because you have a pacemaker or other implant that is not compatible with MRI (confirm with trial site).
