Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a woman (in a heterosexual or same-sex relationship) who is about to start fertility treatment (also called assisted reproductive technology, or ART)
- You have been found to have either polycystic ovarian morphology (meaning a scan showed 12 or more small egg sacs in your ovaries) or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diagnosed using standard medical guidelines from 2003
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a medical condition that makes pregnancy unsafe for you
- You have endometriosis that has been rated as more severe than Grade 2 (confirm with trial site)
- You have already had fertility treatment (ART) in the past
- Your fertility treatment requires genetic testing of embryos before they are placed in the womb (known as PGD)
- Your treatment would use sperm collected through a surgical procedure on the testicles (testicular biopsy)
- You do not currently have a partner
- You or your partner cannot reliably read and complete questionnaires in Dutch, French, or English
