Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are able to give your own consent to take part in the study
  • You have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and your doctor has recommended you receive, or you have already received, a specific type of deep brain stimulation (DBS) device called the Infinity system, with leads placed on both sides of a specific area of the brain (called the Subthalamic Nucleus)
  • You are able to attend the required follow-up appointments during the study

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are not considered a suitable candidate for surgery
  • In the opinion of the study doctor, you would not be able to handle having multiple device programming sessions in a single visit
  • You are unable to follow the required schedule of check-up appointments during the study
