Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

The lung tumor must not be located too close to major airways or blood vessels in the lung, based on a CT scan
You must have a type of lung cancer called Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, at an early to moderate stage that has not spread far (stages T1-2, N0 or N1, M0)
You must be healthy enough to be put under general anesthesia and to have a surgical procedure that removes a large section of the lung (called a lobectomy)

Who may not be able to join:

You have had previous surgery on the same side of the chest before
Your surgical plan involves removing a smaller segment of the lung or the entire lung
You have any kind of ongoing chronic pain that requires you to take pain medication every day
Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is 35 or higher (confirm with trial site if you are unsure of your BMI)
