Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be willing to sign a consent form before any study procedures begin.
• Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use reliable birth control during the study.
• You must have been diagnosed with a relapsing form of multiple sclerosis (MS) — either relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS) or secondary progressive MS (SPMS) that still has relapses — based on specific diagnostic guidelines from 2010.
• You must have been taking a medication called DMF (dimethyl fumarate) for at least 6 months before the screening appointment.
• Your MS must still be showing signs of activity after at least 3 months of taking DMF.
• You must be able to walk (with or without aid) and score between 0 and 6.0 on a standard MS disability scale called the EDSS.

Who may not be able to join:

• Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
• People whose MS has been progressive from the very beginning (called primary progressive MS or progressive relapsing MS).
• People who have had an MS relapse that started within the 30 days before their initial disability assessment.
• Anyone whose personal circumstances or health conditions might prevent them from fully participating in the study, as judged by the study doctor.
