NCT02737787
NCT02737787
Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, confirmed by a pathology review at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK).
- Your cancer came back at least once, but you went through additional chemotherapy and are now in complete remission (no signs of active cancer).
- Complete remission means your CA-125 blood marker is within the normal range, and your physical exam and CT or MRI scans show no clear signs of disease.
- You are able to start the vaccine treatment within 4 months of finishing chemotherapy.
- A sample of your tumor (either stored tissue slides or a fresh biopsy) has tested positive for either the WT1 protein (Cohort 1) or the NY-ESO-1 protein (Cohort 2), at the levels required by the trial.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are generally able to carry out normal daily activities (confirm with trial site regarding the specific fitness level required).
- Your blood counts meet the required levels — specifically, your neutrophil count and platelet count are above certain minimums.
- Your liver and kidney function blood tests are within acceptable ranges.
- If you are able to become pregnant, you have a negative pregnancy test before joining and are using an effective form of birth control.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have an active infection that requires antibiotic, antiviral, or antifungal medication.
- You have a serious or unstable medical condition, or another active cancer.
- You are taking high-dose steroid medications (such as prednisone above a certain dose) or other medicines that suppress the immune system within 14 days of starting the study treatment (inhaled or topical steroids, or low-dose replacement steroids, may be allowed in some cases — confirm with trial site).
- You have a known history of HIV or AIDS.
- You have a known active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection.
- You have an active autoimmune disease (a thyroid condition that is already being treated with medication may still be permitted — confirm with trial site).
- You have active inflammation of the lungs (a condition called interstitial pneumonitis).
