Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 85 years old
- You are right-handed
- For patients: You have been diagnosed with a first episode that may suggest MS (called CIS), or you have been diagnosed with MS for 5 years or less
Who may not be able to join:
- You have significant memory or thinking difficulties, as measured by a standard mental ability test (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently experiencing depression, as measured by a standard mood questionnaire (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently experiencing significant anxiety, as measured by a standard anxiety questionnaire (confirm with trial site)
- You have physical disabilities that would interfere with the study procedures or affect the results
- You have had a significant illness or health problem in the 7 days before the study assessments
- You have any reason why you cannot safely have a brain MRI scan without contrast dye (for example, certain metal implants or severe claustrophobia)
