Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a female who has been diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled to receive chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
  • You are between 15 and 45 years old.
  • You have already started your menstrual periods (had your first period).
  • You have a uterus and both ovaries.
  • You are willing and able to follow the study's requirements and procedures.
  • You have given written agreement to take part (or, if you are a minor, your parent/guardian has given consent on your behalf), and you understand you can withdraw from the trial at any time without it affecting your medical care.

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently pregnant.
  • You have been breastfeeding within the last 3 months.
  • You have a medical condition other than cancer that is known to cause early menopause or problems with ovulation — for example, Turner's Syndrome, Fragile X, thyroid disease, adrenal dysfunction, Cushing's syndrome, high prolactin levels, or polycystic ovarian syndrome (confirm with trial site).
