Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are pregnant and at no more than 32 weeks along in your pregnancy
- You have had depression in the past (meeting certain medical criteria for it)
- You have not been diagnosed with active major depression in the last two months
- You are able to attend scheduled group sessions as part of the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with schizophrenia or a related condition called schizoaffective disorder
- You have bipolar disorder or are currently experiencing psychosis (a break from reality)
- You have a condition affecting brain function or a significant developmental disorder (confirm with trial site)
- You currently have an eating disorder
- You are currently misusing or dependent on alcohol or drugs
- You have been diagnosed with certain personality disorders, specifically antisocial, borderline, or schizotypal personality disorder
- You are currently considered to be at immediate risk of harming yourself or others
- You have any other significant mental health condition that would need a different or more urgent treatment than what this study offers (confirm with trial site)
- You have any medical condition that would prevent you from participating, including a high-risk pregnancy

Engagement (class attendance); Client Satisfaction (CSQ-8); MBCT-PD Adherence Scale (MBCT-PD-AS); Change in Depressive Relapse Status: Longitudinal Interval Follow-up Evaluation (LIFE); Change in Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale (EPDS)
