Who may be able to join

"Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman who has been identified as having Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), diagnosed using specific criteria that look at three features: higher-than-normal male hormone levels, irregular or absent ovulation, and a particular appearance of the ovaries on ultrasound (confirm with trial site)
  • You may be placed into one of four groups based on which combination of these three features applies to you

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are 35 years of age or older
  • You have been found to have any other hormone-related conditions, such as thyroid or adrenal gland disorders
  • You have taken any hormone-based medications or treatments within the last 3 months before joining the study
