Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • For phase 1 of the study: you must be 18 years old or older
  • For phase 2 of the study: you must be 70 years old or older
  • You have been recently diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer (a cancer affecting the lining of the abdomen) for the first time, and your doctors have recommended a specific chemotherapy treatment combining carboplatin, paclitaxel, and a drug called Avastin (bevacizumab)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a medical reason why you should not take Avastin, based on the official guidelines for that medication (confirm with trial site)
