Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 19 years of age or older
- You must be able to read and sign a consent form written in English
- You have stomach or digestive symptoms, or you have already been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (a condition causing ongoing inflammation in the digestive tract), and your doctor thinks a specific stool test could help with your care
- You must be able to collect a stool (poop) sample and return it for testing within 3 days
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with ischemic colitis (reduced blood flow to the colon), an infection-related inflammation of the intestines or colon, or colorectal cancer
- You have had a large portion of your bowel surgically removed
- You have a stoma (an opening created surgically in the abdomen for waste to leave the body)
- You currently take anti-inflammatory pain medications every day, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or naproxen
- You are unable to collect a stool sample and return it within 3 days
