Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years of age or older (male or female)
  • You have been diagnosed with a cancer that has been confirmed by lab testing to express a protein called mesothellin
  • Your cancer can be measured or tracked, has gotten worse despite previous treatment, and includes at least one tumor outside the liver that is large enough to be seen on imaging (at least 1.5 cm), or your disease can be evaluated through symptoms, blood markers, scans, or tissue samples done within the past 4 weeks

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a known allergy or bad reaction to a type of medication called monoclonal antibodies
  • Your body has been known to develop a specific immune reaction called HACA (confirm with trial site)
  • You have previously been treated with a drug called amatuximab
  • You have previously been treated with a drug called SS1(dsFv)PE38 (also known as SS1P)
  • You have taken part in another experimental treatment within the past 30 days
  • You have cancer that has spread to the brain
  • You have an implanted device (such as certain metal implants) that would interfere with imaging scans of your tumors
  • You have received chemotherapy, biological therapy, radiation therapy, or immunotherapy within the past 3 weeks before starting this trial
