Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women who are of reproductive age (able to have children)
- Women who have been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), as well as women who have not been diagnosed with PCOS
Who may not be able to join:
- Young women who started their first period less than 3 years ago
- Women who are older than 45 years old
- Women who have stopped having periods due to menopause
- Women with high blood sugar levels (confirm with trial site)
- Women with an overactive thyroid gland
- Women with an underactive thyroid gland
- Women with heart failure
- Women with lung failure
- Women with kidney failure
- Women with anemia (low red blood cell levels)
- Women with significant nutritional deficiencies or muscle/tissue wasting (confirm with trial site)
- Women with knee joint inflammation or disease (confirm with trial site)
