Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a primary (original) cancer or have developed a second cancer.
- Your cancer diagnosis falls under specific classification codes used in a standard international cancer coding system (confirm with trial site).
- You have biological samples available, such as tumor tissue that has been preserved in one of several accepted ways, along with at least 10 unstained laboratory slides prepared from that tissue.
- If you have a fluid-based cancer sample (such as fluid from around the lungs), at least 1 mL of that fluid and at least 2 prepared slides are available.
- If you have a type of leukemia (ALL or AML), samples of bone marrow (3–6 mL) and blood (10 mL) are available.
- If you have a rare tumor type, slides for specialist review are available instead of the standard quality-check slides.
- You are not currently eligible for another specific cancer biology or tissue banking study.
Who may not be able to join:
- You do not have the required biological samples (such as tumor tissue, fluid samples, or blood and bone marrow samples) available in the formats specified.
- You are already eligible for and enrolled in another disease-specific biology or tissue banking research study.
