Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman or a man aged 18 or older
  • You have a family history of breast cancer, ovarian cancer, or both
  • You have personally had breast or ovarian cancer, or you or a family member have tested positive for genetic markers linked to breast or ovarian cancer
  • You are looking for medical screening and risk assessment because you believe you may have a higher chance of developing breast or ovarian cancer

Who may not be able to join:

  • Women who have a psychiatric or psychological condition, or any other condition, that would prevent them from fully understanding and agreeing to take part in the trial
  • People who are seeking medical care for reasons unrelated to this trial — for example, those who are currently seeking treatment for a known cancer
  • Women who have a medical condition that could make it risky for them to donate blood for research purposes, such as a long-term infectious disease, severe anemia, or a bleeding disorder like hemophilia
