Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- The trial is open to teenagers who are currently in Grades 7 to 10 (high school) and their parents or guardians.
- Teenagers who score in the middle range (between 14 and 30) on a standard depression questionnaire called the CES-D scale.
Who may not be able to join:
- Teenagers who are already doing 60 minutes or more of physical activity every day.
- Teenagers who have been diagnosed with psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder.
- Teenagers who score above 30 on the CES-D questionnaire, which may indicate severe depression.
- Teenagers who have physical health problems or conditions that would prevent them from taking part in regular physical activity (confirm with trial site).
- Teenagers or their parents/guardians who are unwilling or unable to provide written consent to participate.
