Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC), confirmed by a tissue or cell sample test.
- Your cancer is at an early to moderate stage (stages I to III), meaning it has not spread widely and is considered "limited disease."
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (rated 0, 1, or 2 on a standard health scale used by doctors).
- Your lung function tests (measuring how much air you can breathe out and how well your lungs transfer oxygen) show results of at least 30% of what is expected for someone your age.
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer is not small cell lung cancer, or it is a mixed type combining small cell lung cancer with another type of lung cancer (such as non-small cell lung cancer).
- Your cancer is at stage IV, meaning it has spread to distant parts of the body.
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is significantly limited (rated 3 or higher on the standard health scale used by doctors).
- Your lung function test results are below 30% of what would be expected for someone your age.
