Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with what doctors believe is early Alzheimer's disease
  • You are already taking a specific type of Alzheimer's medication (called an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor) at a steady, unchanged dose
  • You are living in the community (for example, at home), rather than in a care facility
  • Your overall health condition is stable

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a serious or unstable health condition that is not well controlled
  • You have a recurring major mental health disorder
  • You are currently being treated with a medication called memantine
