Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) that has spread widely in the body (called "extensive stage")
  • You are able to take care of yourself day-to-day, even if you are unable to do regular work activities
  • You have not yet received any cancer treatments for your small cell lung cancer

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously taken part in a clinical study that involved a drug called pemetrexed
  • You have received a drug in the last 30 days that has not yet been officially approved for use by health regulators for any medical condition
