Who may be able to join
Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a woman (aged 18 or older, either before or after menopause) who has been scheduled for abdominal or keyhole surgery because a pelvic mass was found
- The pelvic mass can be a simple, complex, or solid cyst or growth in the pelvic area
- Your pelvic mass has been confirmed by an ultrasound scan
- You are able to understand and sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been treated for any cancer (except certain common skin cancers) within the last five years
- You are currently receiving certain chemotherapy drugs, such as cyclophosphamide or methotrexate
- You have previously had both ovaries surgically removed
- You are known to be pregnant
