Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with Crohn's disease affecting the large bowel (with or without involvement of the small bowel)
  • You are between 18 and 79 years old
  • You have been on the same doses of your medications without any changes for a period of time
  • Your Crohn's disease activity score (a measure of how active your symptoms are) falls within a moderate range — not too low and not too high (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have short gut syndrome (a condition where a large part of the small intestine is missing or has been removed)
  • You are currently pregnant
  • You are currently breastfeeding
  • You have taken antibiotics in the last 3 months
  • You have taken probiotics (such as certain supplements or yogurt-based products) in the last month
  • You are younger than 18 or older than 79 years old
  • Your Crohn's disease activity score is either too low or too high (confirm with trial site)
  • You have been diagnosed with indeterminate colitis or ulcerative colitis instead of Crohn's disease
  • You have made any changes to your medications in the last 3 months
