Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed by a doctor with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease, confirmed by a memory test score between 10 and 24 out of 30
  • You are living at home or in an assisted living facility, and either live with or are regularly visited by a friend or family member who helps care for you, or you are experiencing behavioural symptoms such as agitation or wandering
  • You and your doctor do not plan to make any changes to your current treatment for at least 90 days

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are currently taking, or have taken in the last 30 days, certain memory medications known as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors or memantine (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently living in a nursing home, planning to move to a nursing home within the next 90 days, or are already taking part in another clinical trial
