Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are pregnant with a single baby (not twins or more) and your pregnancy has been going smoothly
  • Your unborn baby has been identified as a girl
  • Your baby girl has been found to have a simple fluid-filled cyst on her ovary that measures at least 30mm (about 1.2 inches) across

Who may not be able to join:

  • You are pregnant with more than one baby (such as twins or triplets)
  • Your pregnancy has been complicated by conditions such as pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure in pregnancy), diabetes, early breaking of the waters, or your baby has been found to have a physical abnormality
  • The cyst found on your baby's ovary is not a simple fluid-filled cyst — for example, if it contains debris, has internal dividing walls, shows signs of a clot, or appears solid (confirm with trial site)
