- You have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer or primary peritoneal cancer that has been confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy), and it has either persisted or come back after treatment
- Your cancer can be measured on a scan — at least 20mm using standard imaging, or at least 10mm using a spiral CT scan

- You have had one prior chemotherapy treatment that included a platinum-based drug for your original diagnosis
- If you have never had paclitaxel (a common chemotherapy drug), you may have had a second round of treatment that included it
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets the study's fitness requirements (confirm with trial site)
- Your blood counts are at a healthy enough level — specifically, your white blood cells and platelets are above certain minimum levels
- Your liver and kidney function tests are within an acceptable range
- You have fully recovered from any previous chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery
Who may not be able to join:
- Your cancer has not responded to platinum-based chemotherapy, or it came back within 6 months of finishing that treatment

- You have had radiation to more than 25% of your bone marrow in the past
- You are eligible for a higher-priority related clinical trial that is currently open (confirm with trial site)
