Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with an advanced and/or spreading solid tumor that has been confirmed by a lab test, and standard treatments have stopped working or no curative treatment exists
- Your cancer must be visible and measurable on a physical exam, X-ray, or scan (not just shown by a blood marker test)

- Your blood cell counts, liver values, and kidney function are within acceptable ranges based on blood tests
- Any nerve damage or hearing problems you have are mild (confirm with trial site)
- If joining the recommended phase 2 dose part of the study: your cancer has not been treated before, is advanced or spreading, and is a type where platinum-based chemotherapy is typically used (such as certain lung, ovarian, or head and neck cancers)
- If joining the recommended phase 2 dose part of the study: you have at least one tumor that can be measured by scan or physical exam
Who may not be able to join:
- You have untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain
