Who may be able to join

"Who might be able to join this trial:

You have been diagnosed with Wilson disease and are experiencing neurological symptoms (such as movement or coordination problems) or psychiatric symptoms (such as mood or behavioral changes)
You have received no more than 2 weeks of any prior treatment for your condition

Who may not be able to join:

You are currently having seizures
Brain imaging (MRI) has shown certain changes in the white matter of your brain
You have taken the medications penicillamine or trientine for longer than 2 weeks
You have severe liver failure
You have a psychiatric or medical condition that would make the trial treatment unsafe for you (confirm with trial site)
You are pregnant
