Who may be able to join

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Children aged 7 to 16 who are suspected or confirmed to have a problem with the glands that control growth and puberty (the hypothalamus, pituitary gland, or reproductive glands)
  • Children with significantly short height where a hormone-related condition may be the cause
  • Children or teens experiencing delayed puberty
  • Children or teens experiencing unusually early puberty
  • Children with a confirmed lack of growth hormone
  • Individuals with underactive reproductive glands (primary hypogonadism)
  • Women aged 18 to 35 who are having difficulty getting pregnant
  • Women aged 18 to 35 with irregular or absent periods
  • Women aged 18 to 35 with excessive hair growth (hirsutism)
  • Healthy adult volunteers aged 18 to 35

Who may not be able to join:

  • Women who are currently pregnant
  • Women who are currently breastfeeding/nursing
  • Anyone who is currently in prison or a correctional facility
  • Anyone currently residing in a psychiatric facility or institution for mental health treatment
